Parking not open on a Saturday and no updated contact to ask for hours, although there was detail for COVID safety on PBCGOV.ORG.

We had a group of hikers come out to the park on Sunday March 24th and Sunday March 31st. The park is supposed to open at sunrise. We arrived at 7:30am both dates and waited until 8:30am. No one unlocked the gates.

The Yamato Scrub Area does not allow bikes, so please don't ride on it. There is a big sign that says No Bikes Allowed . The trail doesn't have good visibility and a bike rider can cause serious harm to runners and walkers. THANKS !!!

I felt like an outside walk through nature after breakfast before heading over to the beach at Delray and this was the perfect spot. When there you would never know you were so close to the I-95, you can hardly hear any traffic. It is completely free to visit and park and has bathroom facilities. The left hand yellow trail (North Loop) took me around 45 minutes walking at an easy slow pace. It says it is 1 mile but it felt longer! It was a lovely walk through sandy pathways and palm trees with trunks growing horizontally across the pathway and trees covered in Spanish Moss. All in all a lovely way to spend a morning.

IT IS AS THE NAME IMPLYS, SCRUB LAND. Flat and barren land adjacent to an industrial park. Not much to see.
