This tiny theater tends to perform lesser known or experimental works. The performers are passionate, and thus, the productions are top-notch. At the time of this writing, the theater devotes ten seats per production to youth who show up at 7:00 when the box office opens. So, younger people can see any show for free. Because of the size, there's no bad seats. So, I must give praise to this. I wish more theaters would do this to encourage consistent youth patronage. Parking is side street or a lot. Both are free, at least in the evenings. There's a small bar in the lobby. Realize that there is a 20% fee when using a credit card. So, a five dollar drink becomes six bucks. It's noted at the bar, but if you miss the sign, you may be surprised. All-in-all, this is a great altnernative from spending a fortunate in St. Louis for live theater.

We went to see The Light in the Piazza here. As this was our first visit to this venue we were pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the facilities and the talent of the theatre group. The acoustics can be a little spotty now and then depending on the actor's microphone direction making the occasional dialogue exchange difficult to catch but the music came through loud and clear.

Very cozy setting to see live acting and singing. Near the Fabulous Fox theater. It is a must see for entertainment on a small stage

We visited the Marcelle to see New Line Theater's production of Zorba! On a Friday night, parking was available at their lighted lot across the street 30 minutes before curtain time. There is on-street parking in the area, too. There is a small bar in the lobby area. The theater is a typical small black box set up. For this production the view was good from the back rows.

We saw Green Day's American Idiot at the Marcelle last night. Aside from the energetic production and performance, the space is small but beautiful. Parking is easy to access and plentiful in a gated spot directly across the street. Seating within the theater was comfortable, but note that stairs must be climbed. Main floor seating is available too.
