I went on the Hudson Theater Up Close tour with Tim, the owner of the company, as our tour guide. It was a very small tour, just myself and one other solo traveler, but that made that experience unique. Tim was a great tour guide and his enthusiasm and love from Broadway was clearly evident. The tour lasted nearly two hours, but the time flew by because Tim was so engaging. I felt very lucky to have him as my first tour guide with Broadway Up Close. The tour itself was extremely interesting and engaging, with many stories, not only about the theater, but the people that helped bring the theater to life, past and present. I came home with my mind swimming with new facts and stories about a theater I had previously never visited. I can't wait to go on another tour and I highly recommend adding this to your NYC itinerary for any Broadway, history, and/or NYC fans.

We had such a fun and memorable HamilTOUR! The weather was perfect, and it was really neat to see so many places mentioned in the musical. Logan was our guide, and he was extremely personable and full of knowledge, trivia, and enthusiasm. We learned a lot about Broadway productions in general, as well. Our family of four (with two 11-year-olds) all had a captivating time.

Hands down - This company and it's tour guides are the MOST ENTERTAINING and WELL INFORMED folks about the Theatre History in the Broadway Community! I have taken FOUR GROUPS on their tours (basically everytime I am in NYC) and wouldn't miss it for the world! I recommend them to ANYONE who is going to NYC as the tours are SO well planned and so carefully constructed. BRAVO to Broadway Up Close! It's a MARVELOUS company and you just must go do a tour with them!

Every times we visit New York we try to fit in a BUC experience. This time it was the Hudson Theater visit with Bret Miller. As usual the experience was amazing. Bret made sure that everybody in our group was comfortable including my wife and somebody else with mobility issues (elevator, sitting time). While visiting the foyer and the INSIDE of the theater our excellent guide shared fascinating stories about the past and recent events of the Hudson theater and its founders. He had rare photos and footage related to the history of this beautiful theater. A very enjoyable and relaxed morning in bursting New York.
