The rooms exude sophistication and include everything from stylish working spaces to fine art decorating the walls. The staff was VERY friendly, 2nd floor, the corner suite road side was a nice size but was quite noisy with the street traffic, but I’m sure any other rooms would be fine. There wasn’t much of any amenities, even though you are charged a “service” fee. Small refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker was it. $67 valet charge was strong, but across the street was a parking garage that was a lot less.

We’ve experienced many luxury brand hotels, including a stay two days prior that cost 4x per night. The Hotel Teatro stands out because they embody the words on the card greeting you when you check in. Timeless service. Effortless gratitude. These are felt in many little ways, but punctuated by the friendly staff. Every interaction, from the valet staff, the check-in staff, Loran at the front desk who checked us out. Even the waitress Jackie at the Nickel restaurant. Each brought their own personal shine to the experience. The facility is well kept, and still evokes the age and time from which it was built. The location is spectacular, and is especially convenient for performances at the Denver Center for Performing Arts complex. The neighborhood feels safe and quiet for as busy it is.Back to Loran at the front desk. They followed up with me via text to make sure all was good (I gave 5 of 5), but what stood out was that 15 minutes after checking out, I had cause to ask a favor. They looked me in the eye, called me by my name like we’d known each other forever, and were as helpful as possible. … at several points in my life I traveled for my job, racking up a over year and a half in hotel rooms. With stays at hundreds of hotels around the world there are few who stood out so quickly as Loran. They are a credit to this hotel.

We use to stay here all the time loved it. Hotel is very tired. A little less expensive than four seasons across the street - go for the few extra dollars. Not close. Super tiny fitness center - no AC. Dreary. And the morning of check out they informed us they had no valet so had to wait 15 minutes for security to take us to car. You’d think they would have told us. Almost $70 a day to park, they knew when we were leaving - we would have gotten up 30 minutes earlier. Absolutely do not recommend. Even the Westin is better.

We booked a room here to use as my bridal getting ready suite and also for our wedding night. We also recommended two of our friends/wedding guests book their rooms here. We would not stay here again and I'm honestly embarrassed that I recommended it to friends. When I tried to take a shower before my wedding, the bathroom floor completely flooded. I'm talking at least an inch, maybe 2 inches, of water. I had to use every spare towel in the bathroom to sop up the floor. It put me behind schedule for my make up artist and made it ridiculously hard to use the bathroom after that. I also didn't have time to clean it up before I left so after our wedding, my new husband and I came back to a waterlogged bathroom that we had to spend 10 minutes mopping up. We then had to call downstairs to get more towels at 2am so we could shower and when we did, making extra sure the shower door was closed, the bathroom flooded again. We realized that the way the shower door is designed basically allows water to flow out everywhere and you can't stop it. On top of that, the sinks wouldn't drain. Nothing like swirling toothpaste and dirty water to set the mood on your wedding night. My friend who stayed on another floor called me the next day to ask if our shower had flooded too. I confirmed with my other friend that it happened to she and her boyfriend, too, and she mentioned that both of their sinks wouldn't drain either. I know this isn't a new problem because the bottom of the main bathroom door was bubbled and peeling. We are really, really disappointed. My husband and I went back and forth on whether to spend money on a hotel because we live just down the road. We ultimately agreed it was a special night and we should stay somewhere special, so we found Hotel Teatro, a 4 star hotel just down the road from where we first met. After the experience we had, we both agreed we should've saved the money and just come home. Also, I was also really bummed that I wasn't allowed to use the luxury car service to get to my venue because the concierge said it was out of their service area. I double checked their website and the map and it absolutely wasn't out of the service area. So I ended up driving myself to my own wedding, wearing my veil. Thanks for the awesome customer service, made the day feel so extra special. The valet service was honestly the best thing about this hotel. Really friendly and helpful guys, which I appreciated.Overall, though, wouldn't recommend.
