Birth 1st specializes in birth doula services, HypnoBirthing® classes, Lamaze classes, Breastfeeding and newborn care classes. All classes are offered in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Healthy birthing classes are offered privately in your home at your convenience, and personalized for your interests. Small group class may also be set up, (max 3 couples). Elizabeth's childbirth classes incorporate her experiences as a labor support doula to offer empowering and well-rounded birthing classes. It is her goal to teach expecting mothers the full spectrum of possibilities as they are preparing for their birth. Birthing can be approached with confidence by being fully prepared to respond in a positive way to your own personal birth experience. Both childbirth classes and doula services are available in NYC and Long Island: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau County and Suffolk County. Elizabeth attends all types of births including hospital, home, birth center! She uses a variety of comfort techniques to help you through your journey. Some of these practices include hypnobirthing, yoga, changing positions, rebozo, massage, acupressure, TENS machine, homeopathy, aromatherapy, breathing guidance, visualization, positive affirmations, NLP and EFT.
