tripadvisorWe never were able to redeem our groupon. This place is a sham! We got it as a wedding gift and the only gift we actually got out of it was wasted time and lost money. What a hassel for nothing. Thanks
MoreThe tour guide never showed!! After weeks of trying to make a reservation for a Portland tour we finally had a tour date and a confirmation email. We didn't receive a cancellation email or phone call but were left standing in the cold with our tour participants for over 30 minutes until we all just gave up. Spirit Expeditions hasn't answered any email and I think their phones are disconnected. I'm not sure how Groupon got involved in this scam but I don't believe there is any tour company.
MoreThis company recruits guides to lead groups of up to 25 people on tours, collects $20 per person taking the tour, and then doesn't pay the guides the $40 per tour promised. No wonder they don't keep good guides. Many of us guides have gone unpaid, and also are unable to contact anybody at the company. They don't return calls or emails, and claim to be having phone system issues and computer issues and whatever else they can think of. Complete incompetence of business management, or else just thievery.
MorePaid for a tour for Tampa. It was rescheduled 4 times over 4 months. Then in November was notified that all tours have been canceled until April. All forms of communication are not working. Made a claim with the BBB. Business responded to the BBB with a non working personal cell phone number. Business charges for tours that they never provide. Have been seeking a refund for months with no working response from business.
MoreThis is Scam, they advertise in different states where they never intend to have a tour. Then they cancel the tour beforehand. They seem to be based at 201 N Water street, Salem OR 97381 you can report them to the BBB, the local fraud department at the police station there, and maybe if enough people do it, they will get taken out. Call your credit cards for a possible refund if too much time hasn't gone by, but they usually think of that and have you schedule it so many weeks ahead of time. Report the fraud with your card company is the best bet for money back.
