Seeing a city via a running tour is one of my favorite experiences. Something about getting to know the lay of the land early morning before the rest of the city is awake is so peaceful yet energizing. I signed up for a private running tour with Leigh while joining my husband for a AFCA convention in Nashville. Since this was my first time to Nashville I had no idea of running routes and thought a tour would be a great way to see the city, get my run in for the day, and get local recommendations on other running routes, restaurants and shopping. We ran at my pace, my mileage and stopped along the way to take photos and hear a little history along the way. Highly recommend!

I visited Nashville recently for a weekend-long bachelorette party during the same time I had to complete a 10 mile run for a training plan that I'm on. I knew that if I ran alone I would not get to fully appreciate what I was seeing but I had no idea how to plan an entertaining route in a city I've never been to before. We ran through some of the more iconic Nashville tourist areas and also around a lot of the surrounding neighborhoods so I really got to learn more about Music City than the average tourist. My husband and I booked a private tour and met LouAnna at 6 am for a run (Music City tour). We had a really great time - LouAnna made sure to adapt to our pace, told lots of interesting stories and facts about the city, and showed us the sights as the city slowly awakened. One of the best things we did in Nashville (and a great excuse to eat lots of glorious food afterwards!)
