Pirate has existed for over 20 years as a creatively exciting co-op for contemporary artists. The featured artists usually display painting of all mediums, sculpture, and photography, plus full installations and performance art from time to time. The new Lakewood location is a haven for artists discouraged with the trendy scene of Cherry Creek and downtown which tend to be less daring. This gallery prides itself in offering important but affordable alternative design.
