Family Star has revolutionized the approach to educating children 2 months to 6 years from families with low incomes by providing a high quality, authentic Montessori program and comprehensive family support services to families of all socioeconmic backgrounds, including both Head Start and full fee families. We offer dual language (English/Spanish) instruction in beautiful, orderly classrooms designed to promote child development. We actively welcome children with disabilities into our program and collaborate with many community organizations to meet the needs of our families. By empowering our parents to become effective advocates for their children, we help break the cycle of poverty and begin new traditions of self-sufficiency and success for the family. Family Star is committed to all children with diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and diversity, and are proud to be a program of choice for children with disabilities.
