tripadvisorWe really enjoyed all the information provided by our guide. He was full of information both what he had planned and questions we had as well as being considerate for our time schedule. We highly recommend him and his company. The bonus was his grandmother lived 45 miles from us in the State of Washington.
MoreTrip was great! The brick streets, old plantation homes, war ship, food.. everything was super! Shrimp and grits and military base were awesome also.
MoreThis ended up being a private tour as there were not enough people signing up. Too bad it was a great tour. The guide went to all the spots involved in the secession of South Carolina and the war. He knew the Civil War History plus more so you got a city history along the way. If you are interested in the Civil War it is well worth the cost and if you have frineds you can make it a group tour!
MoreIf one is interested in history, I would highly recommend the Civil War walk. The gentleman who is the tour guide is very informative and very enthusiastic in talking about the subject. The walk we took was not free. We purchased our tickets through Groupon. Hollywood certainly takes artistic liberty when making movies as compared to the information this man provided.
MoreExcellent tour. Weather was very pleasant and guide very knowledgeable. Many perspectives and seemed like some of his comments were directed at the Yankees that didn't really understand the war so well. No offense taken but found it interesting :)
