The title of this review is “It Depends” because my opinion of Pinot Car depends on what you are looking for as part of your tour. We had a lovely driver — very friendly and easy to chat. She was timely and got us safely to all 3 of our wineries. If you are looking for transportation — Pinot Car is great!However, if you are looking for more of an expert in the area and the wineries — I cannot recommend this service. Our driver did not fit that model. And the planning aspect of the service didn’t really excel. In fairness, I could have done a better job in setting my expectations with Pinot Car. However on all of our prior experiences on wine tours (and there have been many) the drivers were really experts in the area and the wine makers. My assumption was the same with Pinot Car and that just wasn’t the case.

PinotCar had wonderful service in helping us set up our day. They were on time and kept our day running smoothly. We had an incredible time with Bruce, our driver! He was so kind and helpful and flexible during our day in the Willamette Valley!!! Would HIGHLY recommend this service to anyone heading to the area

Carlos was fabulous! He really made our wine tasting tour a success. We had very specific places we wanted to visit, including some difficult tastings to book, and he helped us arrange all of them. He knew the vineyards and the wine makers and made our trip very smooth. He also had a very pleasant demeanor. He was not intrusive, but was able to politely check-in with us,, in order to keep us on schedule. He also made side trips to pick up our lunch and to pick up bottles of wine for us, while we were doing tastings at other locations.

We have used Pinot Car for our transportation needs from the Portland area to wine country many times in the last several years and find their services to be great — providing save journeys every time and surprising us with new wineries in the area. This weekend we used them for transportation for friends to a wedding and they were on time, always professional, and helpful, even taking pictures for the group. At the end of the night, our driver took time to drive around the area to enjoy local Holiday light displays before dropping us off — a great personal touch. Thank you, Nick, for always taking care of us. We will continue to look to Pinot Car for transportation needs and highly recommend their services.

Carlos took our group of five to four Vineyards in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. He picked us up in Salem right on time with a very clean vehicle. I gave him one vineyard that we wanted to visit. He asked about our taste in wines and types of places we would like visit. I felt that the other three vineyards he chose were perfect for our desires. The whole group raved about how attentive he was from opening the doors to ordering our lunch, picking it up while we were tasting and arranging a place for us to picnic. Everyone asked for his company info so they could hire him again. One guest said it was just a perfect day!
