Welcoming clean lobby. Friendly check in experience. Rolling carts available and easy access to the elevator. We only stayed one night but was really impressed by the space of the room. Standard, clean kitchenette. Large desk and dresser countertop combo. It was a perfect place to open up our large suitcases for the night and get to them at waist height. Clean, comfortable and open floor plan.
MoreThe room was clean and well supplied for our stay. Nice recliner for my husband. However, it smelled. The front desk gave me room spray but it didn't help much. Staff couldn't have been nicer. When I told them they apologized over and over. I think it was just the room, and would go back.
MoreThe room was nice and the staff friendly but that's where any semblance of nice ends. There was a big bag of stinking trash leaking on the floor outside of the elevator. The room next to mine had 2 large bags of rotting trash sitting in the hallway for 2 days and was still there when I checked out. At midnight who ever was in the room next to ours began making lots of noise and it sounded like they were trying to tackle the wall. Thus went on for hours . The front desk had been notified of the trash and the noise complaint. We were told that the only employee was the desk clerk and that she isn't allowed to leave the desk. Finally we had to call the police.
MoreClean beds, carpets and flooring. The bathtub, sink and toilet were clean too. The desk, kitchenette and counters were also spotless. A clean room is extremely important to me and Candlewood staff do an excellent job cleaning!!! The entire room smelled clean. I first noticed the lobby floors were clean along with the elevator and the hallway. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the towels were great. When I checked in, the staff were very friendly and welcoming! Checkout was smooth, easy and again the staff were accommodating and helpful. I will stay here again. Thank you to the employees at Candlewood for making my stay in Waco beautiful.
MoreI generally avoid Candlewood Suites for many reasons.That being said rates were high in Waco and I was arriving late so I gave this one a try.Great hotel. While the services are very limited the price made it an attractive choice.The room was clean, nicer than any Candlewood I have stayed at, and the staff was friendly.The only reason I won't give them a 5 star is because Candlewood Suites only get half the IHG Points.Thanks for a nice stay.
