PDO is a half day, play-based education for toddlers and preschools. Our schedule and lesson plans created educational experiences based on age-appropriate monthly themes. Class sizes are small, and there are 2 teachers per classroom. Many PDO teachers have been at PDO for more than 10 years. New teachers are matched with experience. We operate from September to May from 9:25 am to 1:30 pm daily. Children eat snacks and lunch at PDO and go home for a nap. Our calendar aligns with Denver Public Schools for breaks. Children may attend for 1 to 4 days depending on the PDO class. Wellshire PDO meets and exceeds Colorado Child Care Licensing. We opt not to participate in the stars rating system. The class Information is based on the child’s age on September 1. TEDDY BEAR Class is ages 13 mos. and walking to 17 months with 7 children and 2 teachers BUNNY Class is ages 18 mos. to 24 mos. with 8 children and 2 teachers PUPPY Class is ages 2 to 2.5 years with 10 children and 2 teachers DOLPHIN Class is our Early Preschool Class, ages 2.5 to 3+ years with 12 children and 2 teachers CROC Class is our Preschool Class, ages 3 to 4.5 years with 14 children and 2 teachers Tours sign-up is on the website.
