Reviews
tripadvisorMy husband and I highly recommend the Hi-Lo! The staff was warm and welcoming when we arrived. After checking in we went down to the bar/restaurant (Craft PDX) for a drink before heading out on the town. The server, Bobby did a great job taking care of us with great conversation and he made a mean manhattan! We also saw him in the morning for a much necessary Bloody Mary which hit the spot! Highly recommend the chorizo biscuits and gravy and the avocado toast! This hotel is very walkable to destinations points in downtown. The views, comfy bed, and decor are all a 10/10! The manager, Casey is awesome too!
MoreBeautiful property with friendly and gracious staff
MoreSuch a wonderful hotel - love the modern decor and vibe! The room was clean and had all the needed little touches. The front lobby is spacious for hanging out with some games and a piano should you wish to play. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed getting drinks at the Craft PDX bar/restaurant. The bartender, Ben, made some good suggestions and was attentive. Not to mention lots of nearby great restaurants and others spots to visit within walking distance. Will definitely stay again!
MoreMy husband and I stayed at the Hi-Lo Hotel during a business trip in July, but the incredible service, amenities, and location made the visit feel like a true vacation. Our room on the sixth floor was fantastic, with beautiful high ceilings, an incredibly comfortable bed, and a wonderful bathtub that was perfect for a relaxing soak after a busy day. Every detail made the stay feel comfortable and special.Casey, the General Manager, and Bobby, the restaurant manager, were both exceptional. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly elevated our experience and made us feel genuinely welcomed. We had such a memorable stay that the Hi-Lo will now be our hotel of choice for every trip to Portland. We can’t wait to return!
MoreWe live in Portland but recently spent a night away downtown to celebrate my husband’s birthday & stayed at the Hi-Lo. We had no idea the building had so much fascinating history & it’s been renovated with so much intentionality, while keeping the guest experience at the center. The staff were super accommodating & kind, and the room was very comfortable. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
