Wonderground Gallery is located in Downtown Disney, where it functions as a part-time gallery for contemporary artists like Shag, Miss Mindy and Jerrod Maruyama, as well as a place to hawk Disney merchandise. The melange works well because many of the artists have free reign with designing novel Disney characters, from hipster Mickey to beloved Star Wars personas, each piece is one-of-a-kind. Additionally, the gallery holds events throughout the year in which you can meet the artists, attend launch parties and much more in conjunction with Downtown Disney.

A great art gallery in the Downtown Disney District. It is full of Disney collectibles suitable for every budget. I purchased a stylized Monorail print with a custom mat for only $40. When I got home I was able to purchase a nice frame so that I ended up with a lovely piece of art to remember my visit, without breaking the bank.

MoreWhat I love about WonderGround is that you can find post cards and book marks for a few dollars to fine art originals for hundreds or thousands. There is usually an artist working on custom highlighting of prints or hand drawings. Not to be missed for any Disney fan.
MoreTook a few minutes to walk around this little gallery. Well lit, nicely displays, not your classic Disney art. There was an artist there working on his art while we were looking around.
