Such a old fashioned hippie shop, loved it, so many little this and thats. Jewelry was not expensive, and such a lot of it. You're sure to find an inexpensive delight

I was stoked to find a local jewelry and was hoping to find Mexican/Indian jewelry. I loved this store. I bought 8 pieces of jewelry for $100 and I believe they were all from Malaysia. Not the origin I had in mind but very exotic. I liked the shoulder purses too. I saw Navajo beaded bracelets too that I liked. I got home and gave my gift to family. My mom and sister love their earrings. I couldn't wait to wear my necklaces and sets. I got many compliments just from people looking at the exotic pieces as I passed through. I felt like I went somewhere seclusive . I hope they will list online too so I'm following their Facebook page and bookmarked their website as well.

I am a huge rock collector. I was impressed with the selection of stones here. Staff is knowledgeable about different stones and what they can help with. I bought a beautiful ring that was well-priced. Perfect place to buy gifts for anyone. It was hard for me to walk out without purchasing more than I did.

Yes, it's a tourist trap with kitschy things, but it also has unique (and inexpensive) items to purchase as gifts for friends, family or yourself. Wonderful smelling incense, pewter fantasy figures, clothing and other items to cause you to linger and dream. The ladies behind the counter were wonderful to talk to, and so kind to this tourist!

I've been going to El Loro for years and I never get tired of visiting this magical shop. They have the best selection of semi-precious gemstone jewelry in town; an ever changing inventory of pocket stones, geodes, and crystals; and all sort of other cool things (clogs, bags, spiritual items). I have always found the staff to be helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. This is one of Boulder's gems, and I hope it's around for years and years to come!
