Founded in 1977 by a former teacher, this shop's philosophy promotes cultural awareness and a heightened perception of the importance of children in global issues alongside tons of cool and interesting toys. Despite the important cause behind the shop, it offers a great selection of children's items. There are development toys for infants such as play quilts and mirrors and for older kids the store has some wacky science kits. Grandrabbit's also has dolls, including Raggedy Ann, and other stuffed toy animals. All types of major brands are here and some include Briarpatch, Rokenbok and Small World, just to name a few.
