Ryan and his crew were efficient and helpful. Our group of 8 arrived at 845 at Silver Springs and we were on the river close to 9. Kayaks sere ready and each person was assisted at launch.After wonderful trip down river where we saw birds, alligators, manatees and alligators we were met at takeout and assisted again. Each person was helped out of kayak then It was carried up and loaded. Van Ac was even on which was needed since it was close to 100 degrees.Another separate rental group with different group was at takeout. I will just say I was very satisfied with Discovery Kayak!

We were very pleased with the organization and the short wait. We are super lucky to be able to witness the abundant Florida wildlife with its clear water at Silver Springs State Park. We had the chance to see turtles, alligators and protected manatees. The current makes this kayaking experience super enjoyable. We came away with great memories and beautiful pictures. Would do it again.

We have our own Kayaks. Discovery Kayaks provides shuttle service for the Silver Springs, FL area. We took our kayaks to Silver Springs State Park and took the 5 mile run to Ray Wayside Park. We met Ryan at the State Park and paid our transport fee. The fee for transport from Ray Wayside Park back to Silver Springs State park was $10 per person including the transport of our kayaks. To me, this was an excellent bargain. We only needed one vehicle to take this kayak trip from Deltona, FL. We arrived at the park and unloaded our kayaks as well as paid the State Park fees for the visit and launching ($2 park fee and $4 launching fee per person/kayak). Ryan was parked right in front of us at the launch site and greeted us. At 10 AM, we told Ryan that we were launching and said our temporary farewells.We traveled leisurely down the Silver River and arrived at Ray Wayside at about three hours and Ryan was already there. he helped us load up our kayaks and off we went after a brief wait for other clients to get a full load. At the State Park he helped us unload and pack our kayaks back on my truck. HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS! what an excellent GUY!

Wonderful rental for exploring silver springs. Great communication and easy way to experience kayaking beautiful springs. Will definitely use them again.

The most relaxing day floating (and paddling a little) downstream to return shuttle. So refreshing to see such unspoiled and 'litterless' Florida. We saw many manatees, baby wood ducks, turtles, and alligators-but no monkeys, so we'll have to return! Highly recommend-they made this an easy getaway.
