Charleston does not offer auto taxis but instead has bike taxis which are like rickshaws. My wife used one to return to our hotel from the Charleston City Market. While chatting with another biker, Gracie, about good photo spots, I decided hired her for an hour to show me around. We visited sites along the waterfront, millionaires row, and the college ending my ride at the hotel. I was so impressed I wanted to share the experience with my wife, so I repeated the ride with Alec the next day, finishing the ride at Hank’s. After dinner, Alec took us back to the hotel. This service is a relaxing way to get around and tour Charleston.
