Pros: The room was an actual suite so there were two rooms, and the bedroom part was spacious.And that is where the list of pros ends. Upon check-in, the kid that helped me did not seem like he wanted to help me; there were no luggage carts at 3 PM at check-in. Floor by bed had juice stain or some red stain. Carpet felt grimy. Beds were uncomfortable. Beds made everyone itch, however, no bites and could not find anything. No towel hook or bar in the bathroom or anywhere for that matter; no fan in the bathroom. Kitchen area was tiny compared to other extended stay hotels I've been at. Dishes in cupboard were dirty. Dish soap was half used; dishwasher detergent packet was open. Walls in the bathroom and kitchen were dirty/stained. Breakfast was not great (and I was also leery of eating anything due to how unclean the room and common areas were. I had potatoes- some were done and others were not.). They do have a game room and gym, which we did not use but from a distance things looked nice/usable. The pool had sand or something on the bottom and dipped in the middle with big yellow stains on the bottom and was extremely cold (no way it was heated); the hot tub had foam forming once it was turned on. We did get an and room by the door on first floor, so I can somewhat let this part go, but it is still gross- bugs (crickets and June bugs (I believe) were inside and outside our door. Had issues with getting into the pool our last day, again same kid who checked me in was unenthusiastic about helping. Overall, it was just not a clean hotel, and I am glad that I had only booked for two nights. And now, while it's the weekend, this hotel has charged me twice for the room (once upon check-in and once the day after I checked out). I'm hoping that gets cleared up as I'm unsure why that happened; I'm guessing it will be a pain to get ahold of anyone and get it figured out.

I have never stayed at a Hilton property where I so disappointed with the room. The shower was very moldy. There were big chunks out of the fiberglass base. There was one hook for towels. No towel bars. The shower door shut by itself so quickly and with such force we had to make sure a not dawdle getting in. The TV was unplugged and we had to move the dresser it was on in order to find the outlet. There were no USB ports for charging our phones and other devices. What bothered me the most was that I spent all of my accumulated points for when we would like to stay at a nicer hotel. What a disappointment.

When we first walked in the hotel, there was a mouse in the breakfast area. The kitchen area in the room had severe water damage. Mold in the bathroomToilet didn’t flush properly

Our Extended Family were all Extremely Pleased to stay several nights @ HOMEWOOD SUITES, Topeka,Ks. Manager Aaron Braun & entire Staff were very Welcoming, kind, & professional. They even extended to us special rates & were highly flexible in accommodating our every need during our large gathering, as we celebrated the loss/funeral of a beloved family member! Aaron & Homewood Suites provided Excellent Service, very clean, comfortable, & ample sized rooms, & both indoor/outdoor spacious gathering areas for our extended families to visit & share meaningful stories & create Precious Memories! Homewood’s Fun Pool & Hot tub, GameRoom, & exercise spaces plus outdoor grill/ patio areas provided plenty of activities for both adults & children to enjoy our time together! Their breakfast options were delicious!Any & All our questions or needs were promptly answered & professionally met! We were so thankful to spend quality time @ Homewood’s Design Savvy, updated, & well run facility! Our family highly recommends it!

The gym at Homewood was a great disappointment. One treadmill was out of order. The other two treadmills were inoperable. The stationary bike was also inoperable. The two stair masters one was inoperable and the other one that was operational shut off after five minutes of use. The only operational piece of cardio equipment was the Pelotion bike which required that you sign up for an additional monthly subscription. I spoke with one of the staff members who indicated that they are having issues with the exercise equipment. I will never stay at HomeWood Suites again. I truly want a refund for my stay because being able to exercise each day with fully operational equipment is critically important to me. I called the customer service number only to be transferred to the front desk person which was no help at all.
