Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten is an early childhood care center serving children ages 12 months to 6 years. We are a learning community where children can be children and imaginations come alive. BWK is situated on a beautiful one+ acre farm with chickens, goats, rabbits, biodynamic and organic gardens and fruit trees. Our professional faculty is devoted to engaging every child at our school. Together we milk our goats and make organic goat cheese, which the children then eat on bread that they have helped to bake. Children play in our colorful and spacious classrooms, where they engage in art projects and creative play and explore aspects of daily living. At the heart of our philosophy is the belief that education is an art. As such, the curriculum is designed to ignite the child's imagination and develop capacities for creative and independent thinking from the very earliest years.
