I am a writer and looking to get an in-depth look at NYC in the Gilded Age. Lina’s tour gave me a fascinating insight into life in the era. She specially prepared a three hour tour of the hot bed of action that was this most progressive time. We visited Union Square, Ladies Mile, Madison Square, Gramercy Park amongst other things and she was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly.

We had a tour with Lina a few years back and enjoyed the knowledge and experience Lina shared with us as we toured Manhattan. In August we returned to NYC and we had another couple with us and wanted to share the experience of a Gotham Tour with them. Lina tailored the tour to meet our needs - one member of our group required a slower pace and Lina was very accommodating. Our leisurely stroll through Lower Manhattan, Wall Street, World Trade area, China Town and little Italy was very informative. For the other couple it was their first trip to NYC and they enjoyed hearing the history of these various areas as well as the personal stories and experiences Lina shared. Lina has a very easy going and relaxed way with people which immediately sets you at ease. We were able to ask questions without feeling the questions were silly or frivolous. On our tour, we had asked Lina to allow time to stop for snacks in each district in order to sample some of the various cuisines and cultures - she did not disappoint! We stopped for Dumplings in China Town, a deli in Little Italy and a few other shops along the way. Highly recommend the dumplings!!Finally, as the tour ended and Lina took her leave, Lina recommended Lombardi’s Pizza for our late lunch and that was amazing! We will without a doubt be contacting Lina again on our next visit to arrange further tours of other Burroughs! Thanks Lina!

Lina toured Manhattan with my 9 year old and me for 6 hours, our experience was the highlight of our trip, she was the most personable, friendly, knowledgeable guide that you could ever have. She tailored our tour to make it the most entertaining and educative for both. There were amazing stories all over the different sites we visited. Can't wait to return next year and continue touring with Lina.

Lina, in addition to being a very nice, friendly and outgoing person, is incredibly knowledgeable and insightful. The quantity and quality of information she shares is amazing. This is a must do, because you will learn so much. She can answer any questions you have and add interesting and anecdotal color. We had a spectacular time and would strongly encourage anyone to go. She effortlessly shares so much interesting and useful information you will walk away with such a fantastic understanding of NYC.

Having this tour with Lina is one of my best memories that I have had in NYC. She is a living history. I was so fascinated with her description while crossing the bridge. With the wonderful view I got a solid knowledge about what I was going through. The stories behind each construction indeed made my day. Extremely satisfied. It was a very special tour --loved it.
