I’m not sure if I would call this a ‘gallery’ as everything is for purchase. The staff was warm and friendly, approaching me with an offer of tea or water. You will find a great variety of items ranging from cards and prints, candles, jewelry, pottery, textiles and purses to painting. Most importantly to me is that the items are the work of an individual, these are not mass produced items. Most items are originals, some are prints of the artists’ original work. There is a range of price points and in my opinion items are reasonably and fairly priced. That of course is subjective. If you are a visitor and something catches your eye the store has an excellent website with the option to order on line as well as the offer to assist with shipping.

After some exceptional chocolate bars next door at Dolce Neve we ambled across the driveway to the Art for the People Gallery and were very pleasantly surprised to find a quite space, nicely modernized exhibit of bright, upbeat contemporary 3D & 2D art full of emerging vigor and talent. I didn’t want to take pics of the work inside, but it’s definitely worth a quick or slightly longer visit. The lighting is even and unobtrusive, and prices - in my opinion - were very reasonable for the quality of art and presentation. We did visit with our 5 year old grandson and everything was “very” tempting to touch, so just be ready if you take little ones with you (smiles).

I visited while in Austin. I was looking for some gift items. This is a great little boutique with lots of cool pieces by local artists. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Knew exactly what I was looking for. The prices were quite reasonable. There will be a return visit.
