We took a golf cart tour and it was Awesome. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative of the area. We enjoys it very much.

I can prove we were at the dock at the time the boat was to leave, can describe the captain’s appearance, and prove I tried calling. The facts are - the boat. was. docked. and. anchored. And we were intentionally left. Also, the taxi docks are nowhere near Amalie Arena, which should be removed from the listings. The unprofessional “management” responses should be reason alone not to book any of these scammers’ trips. Like someone else said - seems like they are run by toddlers and who knows what the truth is. They benefit from how they do “business” and do not care about the consumer or their experiences by how they respond.Refusing to provide a service they took someone’s money for (when they could and should have provided it), and did nothing they said they would or would have done at the time, without reconciliation afterwards once knowing all the facts, is in fact a scam. Mistakes happen and they made one, but instead of taking it as an opportunity to train staff more appropriately for what appears to be a repeat issue on their part, for a more customer-friendly and affordable experience, they’ve chosen to double down and make unethical and dishonest assumptions i.e. assuming we didn’t call, saying they would have waited, assuming their “captain” didn’t act incompetently, respect for other guests when we too were “guests” at the dock, providing inaccurate directions, etc. If I am ever able to get a satisfactory resolution, I will remove my review, but I stand by the warning, like many others’ I wish I had heeded, and do not recommend this company’s “services” to anyone.

Booked my tour through Viator. Received a confirmation text from Viator with the address of the dock. Upon arriving at the address provided, I realized there was no parking. Not being familiar with the area, I called the number on my confirmation text. I was told that parking was 2 blocks away. By the time we found parking and walked the 2 blocks we had missed our tour. I later discovered an email sent at 8pm the night before (by the actual tour operator) with instructions for parking. I was not expecting an email as I had already received the confirmation text with an address. I emailed Viator requesting a way to either rebook the tour or get a refund, but I was denied. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I then received an email from Viator threatening to send me to collections!! I'm sure the water taxi company is wonderful, all the reviews are great. However, due to their choice of using a third party to book their tours, I was never able to experience their service. To be threatened with collections for $60 was shocking. They literally could have offered a chance to rebook the trip and I would have been pleased. Unfortunately I was strong armed by an invisible company all while destroying the reputation of a locally owned business. Very sad. Because of Viator, Tampa Bay Water Taxi will never get another dime of my money.

Company cancelled the tour by phone call at 6 AM morning of the tour. No explanations. Weather was beautiful. Automatic refund to my credit card was not for the full amount which was originally charged. Can't seem to contact company for rest of refund since the company cancelled.

Rude and won’t refund money. Don’t even be 1 min late. We even calledTo say we where having parking issues and he said he couldn’t wait a minute past the 11 o’clock boat ride.
