The wife and I visited the store while we were visiting Estes Park . Nice store and friendly people. We will visit again next year.

Nice little souvenir shop. We almost always top there when going through Big Thompson Canyon. Seems like it has become a part of our plans when there and doesn't seem right when we don't stop.

This was a fun stop on our way to Estes Park. It's basically a gift shop with a neat little look out tower to look at the views and the the dam. I enjoyed it, it was fun and kitschy and I live for that stuff. The tower is out back and there is just a little donation bucket to go on it.

The Dam Store is still worth a stop on the way to Estes Park and/or the Rocky Mountain National Park to shop for a few souvenirs, grab a snack, or climb the lookout tower. This review is actually more geared toward the Jack's Great Mexican Food Truck that is now parked in the parking area of the Dam Store. We saw their sign for Colorado Green Chile this fall and decided to stop and try their southwestern/Mexican food. We were glad we did. The taco plate was delicious, and although a bit pricey overall, the food was made fresh and was very tasty. The fresh lemonade was delicious. The service was great, and the chef came outside of the food truck while we were eating to see how we liked our food. Bottom line: We will eat at Jacks Great Mexican Food Truck again next time we head towards Estes Park.

Definitely a short visit. Tourist trap that was not that exciting. I walked up the tower to look at the falls. Looked for 10 seconds and then walked back down.
