Quiet, nice fishing pier. Road to boat ramp was flooded. This is probably a great spot for bird watching in the spring. Apparently this is a spot for people to come and perform lude acts!

Pretty good for kayaking. Haven't tried the fishing this round, just kayaking. (I'm not a Shreveport native) It looks like it used to be a park way back when. Old picnic tables are still.seen on the banks. We were able to get into some pockets and areas that looked like they had been blocked off. Alot of debris and could use a little pick me up but other than that..it was okay.

Until 2016, you could wander around here and enjoy the water, photography opportunities, and disc golf. Now most of it is blocked off. It does have a fishing area which was recently reopened. It has a nice dock - stays pretty crowded though.

This was once a fun place to hang out, fish or just root around. No more it has been blocked off for some time now unsure why. It is a shame the city doesn't do something to fix it up.jt

I've driven here occasionally for the option of a park , but don't find it has a particularly safe feeling and do not get out of my car if I am alone. Too bad, as it has so much potential.
