Productions at the Bas Bleu Theatre are always top notch! The staff, volunteers, and performers are always warm, kind and welcoming. I highly recommend them!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing a production at this small, intimate theater in Ft Collins today for a show called “Abundance.”The theater is small with only about 5 rows so it’s very intimate but not cramped feeling. The vibe in this theater is great and I loved the show. They have local artists who display and sell their pieces in the theater lobby.Love this venue and will definitely keep in on my list to watch for upcoming shows.

I have been to my fair share of dinner theatre productions, but have never experienced the intimate nature of a small live theatre like Bas Bleu. It was a real treat! The theatre only has five rows with about 20 seats per row making for a very close-up and personal experience. The performance we saw, Boeing Boeing, was entertaining and generally well performed (we particularly liked Gretchen!). I also presume the same is true for most of their performances, as the theatre has been running for 25 years! The overall atmosphere is charming. They offer local art for sale on the walls in the lobby, the snack bar runs on an honor system, and the facility is like an old warehouse. The location is conveniently placed just outside of the north end of old town. The price is very reasonable ($18 per ticket, or $13 for a student). My one and only complaint would be that the production we saw had some pieces that weren't appropriate for all ages and it would have been nice to have that warning somewhere in the play description. Otherwise, a real gem in Fort Collins and a good experience!

I've seen almost everything this troupe has done for over 20 years. They tend towards plays which deal with difficult or thought provoking themes, but also mix in comedies. Going to live theater is like going to a football game: often good, sometimes unforgettable. Get off your butt and just go.

This is a small local theatre that I had to search for the first time, and even now am a little challenged to go to directly, with no false turns. It is well worth the trouble to seek out, however. Unique productions not available anywhere else are presented, and on return visits you may see favorite local actors in a variety of challenging roles.
