tripadvisorSo much work that needs to be done! Room was very dirty. Hair in the bathroom. Missing smoke detector, wires hanging from the ceiling. Patio door would not lock, therefore it would not stay shut. Peeling wallpaper. We arrived at 3:00 check in, were given the keys and had to stand in the hall and wait for housekeeping to finish our room. Disappointed!!
MoreOh where to begin!!!! No phone or clock in room. Bathroom door about to fall off because it had so many holes in it. Carpet was soaking wet under the window, half the tv channels didnt work. We tried using the hot tub but it was so cold the first night we stayed in it not even two minutes, the next day although slightly warmer it had so many chemicals in it it burnt our eyes and even turned my mint green bikini completely white!!!! The pool was ice cold. Guest laundry was out of order, there was no hot breakfast as advertised, bar restaraunt was not open, a couple days there was no hot water all day long. Kids running screaming in the halls, big dogs barking constantly, nothing being done about those issues but when my boyfriend spit off the balcony we got a first and last warning!!! I am a rewards member and had to stay for a week!! Am not happy and will never recommend anyone stay at this dump!!!! With all these issues plus some i havent even listed all the manager would do was give us one free night!!!!! IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!!!!
MoreI stayed at this hotel for one night, and was impressed with the quality of service provided for the price that I paid. The front desk staff was accommodating, and the room was CLEAN. There was a micro + fridge in the room, flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi! The clerk walked me down the hall to show me room 107, which I initially turned down because it was so close to the front of the hotel. At my request, she then sent me to a room at the far end, where there would be more privacy. But that room had new-paint smell so I returned to the original room 107. When I walked in and really took a look around, I was impressed with the overall cleanliness. The bed was neatly made, with not a single stain or mark on the bed cover. The carpet was spotless, as well. The bathroom linoleum floor was also clean, as were the neatly folded towels. The only complaint I might have had was that the tub was unavailable, leaving only the shower option. For the guest looking for a simple, clean, place I highly recommend the FoCo Nat'l 9 motel. The non-smoking rooms towards the front of the motel seem to be in the best condition. Enjoy!
MoreYou walk into the lobby which is o.k. and start down the hallway! Heavy smoke wafts into one's nostrils and being a non-smoker you are already set for an awful night. We had room 108, do not stay on that side of the motel. Late travelers checking in - you get the treat of theire headlights into your room. Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. I do not think I have ever used a worse shampoo than the Pansy shampoo in the room! Bring your own! Water was hot and plenty of it. There was a refrigerator which many of the fancier chains are now eliminating; there was also a microwve which again are beng eliminated. For the money, after one got out of the smoke smelling hallways, it was tolerable. I would not stay there again given a choice.l
MoreWe had a nice room, but did have hot water for the shower issues. They are remodeling this hotel, so does have a few problems now and then, Im sure, but overall we were mostly satisfied with everything. The continental breakfast was fine, the coffee good. Had a nice indoor pool and hot tub, which we didn't use. We would definitely stay here again.
