tripadvisorWe had a great time learning how to use watercolor paint. Jann was sweet and knowledgeable, but was teaching in such a relaxing way that learning was fun. I'm excited to use the skills I learned at home. It definitely was a great value for the money and 3 hours. I'm planned to take the next level class when we return to the area.
MoreJann is a wonderful and fun teacher! Four of us attended this class:myself, my husband, and our sons who are 19 & 20 years old. We left there with smiles on our faces, inspired to keep painting and feeling like we have the knowledge and capability to create more water color art in the future!
MoreWe went here and did a alcohol ink watercolor. It was the best time! Jann showed us all the tips and tricks to make a beautiful leaf picture. She also provided us with all the instructions to make one at home! So much fun!
MoreI had the pleasure of discovering the Gatlinburg Art's Community on this trip and signed up for a painting class with Jann. I've been a bit intimidated by watercolor (and painting in general) but she explained the supplies, the process and techniques we'd use and I was ready to proceed. Jann and I had an identical set up of materials in front of us and as she demonstrated technique I followed, creating the most lovely painting. Jann is a skilled teacher and I loved every minute spent learning from her and getting to know her. When I left I had a matted painting which I will frame and proudly display, plus a comprehensive packet of materials and resources that will guide me in purchasing what I'll need to continue painting when I return home. It was truly a transformative experience and I recommend highly taking this class. Jann is amazing !
MoreI love the leaf and tree watercolor prints. I have about 8. We visit every time we are in Gatlinburg. We loved speaking with her husband on our visits, he will be sadly missed, what a treasure. Stop in and see her works they will brighten your day.
