I do not recommend this Hotel. And it is a shame. I had stayed here the first part of last year. It was great. The lady in the office was wonderful. Couldn’t say enough good about her. However, today it’s totally different. There is this lady in there who’s extremely rude and very arrogant. They don’t let you in the office. You stand outside in the heat outside window like you’re ordering food or some bologna like that. And then I was told and I know check in is at 3 o’clock, but I was told there was no rooms ready not cleaned or anything so I don’t know what happened to this hotel but it really has gone to the dogs. If I hadn’t already paid for this room, trust me I’d be out of here. It’s for one night only thank God, but I don’t recommend it. It’s a shame because like I said last year, it was awesome but something has happened, and it is really a piece of crap in my opinion.

There's no free breakfast and if you stay more than a week you have to wash your own laundry and buy your own toiletries

The area of the hotel is ghetto. I think this building use to be for residents because nothing is updated or renovated. Staff is nice, not open on Sundays. Towels they provided was damp and only gave 2, no extra towels no small hand towels, just 2. Bed covers are paper thin and bed is creaky. Room was clean, but not sure if it was thoroughly cleaned. AC unit was working perfectly -thank god- so no complaints there. I didn't see any pool around nor was it mentioned when we checked in.

I do recommend this hotel. The staff was great, the location is perfect. The area is nice and there are plenty of restaurants around. The room was huge, which I really loved so yes, this would be a very nice place to stay.

I’ve stayed in plenty of budget hotels without issue, but this place was next-level bad. I lasted 40 minutes before leaving to stay elsewhere. Here’s why:1. No blankets. One pillow per bed. I’m not sure if this hotel expects guests to bring their own bedding, but when I asked for extras, they sent exactly one additional pillow—for a family of four. Not super helpful.2. False Advertising: The Pool That Wasn’t – They proudly list a pool on Expedia, yet it was closed indefinitely by the city. Why? No clue, but that’s not exactly reassuring.3. A Truly Shocking Scene – I have no issue being around people from different walks of life, but this hotel seems to function more as long-term housing than a place for travelers. There were kids playing inside the dumpster, pulling out trash like it was a playground. As a former foster parent, this broke my heart.4. No Trashcans. Which feels ironic, considering the outside dumpster seemed to be a central attraction. When I (very politely) asked for a refund—since we had been there less than an hour, couldn’t access the pool, and weren’t even provided proper bedding—I was flatly told “no.” No apology, no attempt to make things right. So here’s my advice: unless you enjoy shivering in bed, being misled about amenities, and witnessing a dystopian scene in the parking lot, stay literally anywhere else. Liberty Garden, just up the road, is the same price but clean, comfortable, and actually cares about its guests.Zero stars. Avoid.
