tripadvisorThe playground is pretty basic, there are no swings and just a few slides but it is pretty neat that you are able to see the planes take off and come in which the kids enjoy watching. There are shaded benches where you can sit and observe the planes. There is a trail that starts at the playground. We have road our bikes to the end of the trail where you hit the street. The bike trail isn't difficult at all, My 6 year old who is still a beginner bike rider did not have any issues. Parking gets packed on the weekends. There are port a potties. MoreIt’s a nice park and the kids love watching the planes come in . Nice playground for them too . Parking can be difficult as it’s small . If you care, most people aren’t wearing mandates masks. If you don’t care, good luck
MoreI was able to get a parking spot looking toward the airport runways and was able to catch some planes landing and taking off. Hiking/biking paths and well as a playground for the kids. Great place for a family with young kids.
MoreA really neat place to take young people to watch planes come in for landing! Clean well kept secured!
MoreOn good weather days this is a great place to take the children to watch the planes take off and land at BWI. There is a great playground for small children, and a great walking trail for exercise. Many people will park their cars and just watch the planes fly by as they prepare to land. We often get burgers and have lunch in our car as we watch the activity. When the different airlines have a push to get planes landed you can see lots of planes coming in for a landing. There are always people taking pictures of the planes coming in for a landing. This is a free park and in the summer there are sometimes vendors parked selling ice cream and snowballs. There are always county police and Transportation Police driving in and out of the area.
