City of Franklin Streets Department is one of the largest operating divisions of the City. The department offers a host of maintenance services, such as street sweeper service throughout the city, annual leaf collection in the fall/winter and various road works, including patching roadways, shoulder repair, inspection of sidewalks, and curb/gutter and roadways. It also possesses traffic, storm water and fleet maintenance division. Permits issued by City of Franklin Streets Department include street cut permit for excavation/road bore within street right-of-way and dumpster permit for placement within street right-of-way.
