I loved the Spa at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore. It's beautiful and very relaxing. The staff are kind and helpful and they were celebratory when they found out we had just gotten engaged at the hotel. My attendant was awesome and I felt very welcomed.My favorite part is the vitality pool, heated stone chairs, sauna, and lounge. It was great to relax with those amenities. Everything was extremely clean. The vitality pool/sauna area is separated by gender and clothing optional. However, phones are allowed, and while it is fine to have one in a robe pocket, phones should not be out when others are around, especially in an area like that. But that is allowed, so be wary. Our massages were fine, but nothing we would rush back to or pay for again. I'd want to try a body scrub or wrap, my typical spa service. I'd also love to visit in warmer weather and use the outdoor pool. I am very much looking forward to returning.

The spa is beautiful! Hotel guests do have access to the spa without an appointment, but it was not crowed on the occasions that I visited. They provide plush robes and slippers upon checking in which is a nice touch. It is possible to order food at the spa, which is helpful, as you can literally spend hours there. The attendants were all lovely and attentive. I enjoyed cycling between the sauna, hot tub, showers, and lounge area with sunlight.Whereas the spa is spotless, well designed, and very beautiful, my facial completely missed the mark, and I did not enjoy it. I scheduled a Hydrafacial, which I have gotten at least ten or so times in my lifetime at other places. The esthetician's technique was not effective. My skin was clogged and waxy. The entire purpose a Hydrafacial is to deeply clean the skin. The massage portion of the facial was very weak. Additionally, the products smelled awful and gave me a really bad headache that I spent my first night at the hotel recovering from. The facial was so bad, I cancelled the massage I scheduled for the following day, as I did not want to be disappointed again.I emailed the spa about my experience, and I did not get a response. Therefore, I spoke to the front desk about this and it was somewhat addressed, but I do not believe that the resolution made me whole.I would visit the spa again as a hotel guest, but I would not book any services. If you are someone that enjoys getting facials and massages on a regular basis, you likely will not enjoy the facials here.

The Four Seasons spa was a five-star experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of. The spa is located on the 4th floor near the outdoor infinity pool. Spa patrons have a 3hr access pass to the outdoor pool Monday through Friday if they have booked a certain level of services. Spa patrons also have use of the spa facilities for 3 hours around their appointment time. This includes a heated vitality pool, steam room, sauna, heated loungers and a relaxation room. There is also a small Cafe area from which you can order a spa lunch and an outdoor seating area. Each of us had a massage with add-ons such as hot stones, scalp treatment and exfoliations. The hot stone massage that I had was incredible! One of the best massages I've ever had. The atmosphere is one of pure luxury and the staff is the best I have ever encountered! Every single person we encountered at the spa and at the hotel were fabulous! Treat yourself to a staycation and splurge on a spa day at the Four Seasons in Baltimore - you will be amazed!

Cushioned along Baltimore's Harbor is the Four Seasons Hotel which offers stunning views of this waterway. In keeping with this properties reputation as a urban retreat, the hotel houses the Spa @ the 4C's. With 11 treatment rooms and a sophisticated array of recipes, it is an ultimate escape for a wellness retreat. I was astonished at the 10,000 sq. ft. of pampering space, perched over the harbor.The spa facility embraces gender separate locker areas and lounges, whirl pools, steam rooms, rainforest showers and a complementing fitness center and seasonal outdoor pool. The spa offers an extensive array of customized program offerings from massages, facials, body treatments and more designed for restfulness and rejuvenation, I tried the body healing treatmentand this regime accomplished just that. I followed up the routine in the dry sauna and steam room which enhanced the calming effect of the body massage. All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing session.

To preface, I have not been to the spa since before Covid but that date was not an option. My review details why. I'll start by saying that the Spa at Four Seasons in Baltimore is absolutely lovely and, as a local, I've been many times over the past decade and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. Not just the services, but the amenities, my favorite of which are the vitality pools (akin to a hot tub but so much more). These have been closed for well over a year with no date in sight for when the repairs may be completed and the pools available again to spa goers. I have called several times to inquire about the status and get the same vague answer. I was told however that in order to do the repairs that the spa would have to close. Sounds like a lot of revenue loss there. But, the website continues to show pictures of the pools and lists them as an amenity included in your spa day. I was told that there is a note on the website reporting that the pools are not operational but I have yet to discern the location of this information. This is truly a first world problem I know but it sure is nice to be able to expect what's advertised.
