A wonderful art gallery showcasing the works of John Barrow. Our guide Richard was very knowledgeable and interesting in his presentation of the works of the artist. There are 2 rooms that are filled with many of John Barrow's best works. Most are scenery paintings of the area of Skaneateles. Also some are works painted in the Adirondacks. Take an hour or so and enjoy this great gallery.

The gallery is so beautifully done and cared for. John Barrow was an unbelievably talented artist. And his love for this town is represented all around Skaneateles. We also did the walking tour which I would highly recommend. Amy our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly & fun.We really had a great time!

Hudson school painter’s private collection preserved in the annex to the town library. Gorgeous historic landscapes covering all the walls. A knowledgeable volunteer was quite helpful. It’s a small space packed with art. Free admission and worth a brief stop while you are in Skaneateles.
