I booked the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse for a private birthday party for my sister's 70th birthday. It was a very unique & memorable experience for everyone. The kids enjoyed the boat ride and had a great time. We bought sandwiches and drinks and had a picnic lunch on the deck of the lighthouse. We are only a small group of 17 and it was perfect.

Saw it when going by on the Amtrak train on the trip to NY city. Really fascinating just seeing a lighthouse/building sitting in the middle of the Hudson River. If I'm back in the area soon, I'll look into seeing it up close if that is possible.

Took the last tour of the season, wound up to be that perfect sunny autumn day on the Hudson River that’s tough to beat. The volunteer staff at the lighthouse all have a passion for what they do and know the light top to bottom and all the stories that go with it. If you have any interest in Lighthouses this is the tour to take. It may not be the biggest light, but it’s history will pull you right in and to stand on top of the light and watch the river and the boats passing....awesome!

Wonderful people taking the time to inform us of the former lighthouse keepers. From getting on the boat to being there, it was a wonderful experience. very knowledgeable people and very nice tour with video that was excellent.

This is such a lovely experience. A 10 minute boat ride to a tiny lighthouse in the Hudson river. The docents are so knowledgeable about the structure and the surrounding river. You can get here from either Athens or Hudson but I recommend Athens because of the beautiful homes in Athens.
