tripadvisorWe were just there and not a single store open, except for a barber shop. Most storefront windows are empty! Definitely not worth the visit.
MoreMy sister and I visited the MARKET ARCADE building today as part of OPEN DOORS BUFFALO. I was amazed at the beauty both outside and inside. It will be even better when all of the store space is occupied and business is transpiring in all spots. The small food court offers interesting and tasty choices. I doubt if I will ever be able to visit the Market Arcade again, but if I get the opportunity to do so, I will.
MoreThis place has seen better days. Seems to be neglected by it's current owner/s. Last time I visited was in 2017 and this place was way better then, had more stores, food court connected. Now it's pretty much empty of stores, no more food court and just dead silent inside. Not really worth seeing other than the architecture.
MoreThe building is beautiful and has a lot of cool history. Right now there is a small pop up called Queen City pop up for a few weekends. There are also a few shops and businesses. There are 3 floors. Currently, they have 2 art galleries that are showcasing phots and the struggles they have after coming home-moving!! There is an entrance from to Expo with a bar, coffee shop, and 3 other food venues.
MoreOnce we entered the Market Arcade Building, we knew this building was done in Neo-Classical design. I saw the sign of Market Arcade. It stood out. Once inside, I saw there were a lot of shops. When it rains, no one will get wet. There were wooden benches and metal benches. There was even a Buffalo statue. The stairs, the laps, the shops looked like the 1900s. It looked so beautiful! However, everything looked brand new. There was a lot of natural light, thanks to the ceiling. We saw paintings, t-shirts, clothing, a bakery, and way more. I liked walking here. No rain will ever fall on us in this Arcade. This is worthwhile to see!
