We had a great time learning about old time Tampa's Cigar industry. How they are modernizing and the history of it all/ Fascinating to see how the machines work and then to see the hand rollers. Also the best part was the basement where they age the cigars and that they have a bale of tobacco from Cuba from the 60'2

Recently, we were in central Florida for 8 days. This tour was 1 of 8 we took during our visit---it ranks in the BEYOND OUTSTANDING category!!!!! Basically, I cannot add much to the other PRINTED REVIEWS regarding this AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! I'm simply saying that this review is being posted on Nov. 3, 2018. This inexpensive, 2-hour walking tour is not strenuous, but you will be on your feet during its entirety! We all agree, meeting Wally Reyes was truly an honor & a privilege!!! He's still going strong & his knowledge is vast!! He exudes eloquence, passion & enthusiasm regarding Ybor City, Tampa's cigar industry & teaching people about their past. Plus, only on this tour, will you stand on Cuban soil (without leaving the USA)...watch cigars being made (up close & personal)...enjoy walking among Ybor City's 42 decorative chickens & roosters (all descendants of Key West's extensive flock)...& legally touring a Church of Scientology!!! Scientologists spent $22 million restoring the first cigar factory in the area, that was constructed in 1886. I thank them for the restoration & preserving this magnificent structure!! Wally is amazing!! He made my trip to Ybor more than I could ever expected! I had called him in the morning and he said they didn't have any tours for the day, then I ended up calling him again (thinking it was a different company) and he came and gave a me a private tour out the generosity of his own heart! He grew up the area and knows everything on the history of the cigar industry and he tells with very entertaining, yet true, historical stories of Ybor city! Wally is such an invaluable asset to Ybor and it was an honor that I met him and received a tour from him!
