tripadvisorBeautiful it’s a beautiful little park by the Water oversee Canal in Cape Coral.the bark has an interesting butterfly garden, which is maintained by very nice volunteers. There are three observation decks to see manatees, dolphins, and people fishing.there’s a spot for fishing and watch the boats passing by there’s a kayak launch, which is suitable for disabled people. The park is on the north west side of Cape Coral near Matlacha area.
MoreLove this small park. Surrounded by canals and the Spreader. Paved oval path is nice for short laps around. View waterways, Nov-Jan you’ll frequently see manatees making their way down the waterways from the Gulf thru our canals into warmer shallow water, as well as stingrays, and dolphins. Fish jumping. Boats passing by on the Spreader (name of main waterway out to Matlacha). Kayak launch and u can rent kayaks, or take a class to kayak. People fishing. Beautiful butterfly garden maintained by volunteers. Bird viewing area. Has nice restrooms. No playground. Sit on a bench and soak in Florida. I like walk there, sometimes sit on a bench and draw for a while. Lots of birds. Larger birds frequently eating their own fresh caught fish. Neat little park.
MoreThis is a peaceful park with a nice view of the mangroves and a couple of docks where one could likely see manatees. (We did not.) Parking is free and there is a brand-new restroom building and a water-bottle filler station.
MoreVery small park with not much to see. Small, quiet walkway. Lots of folks fishing! They say that manatees are seen there somwtimes but we didn't see any.
MoreI love this park so much. i live within walking distance and it’s a nice place to take a walk in the morning. I really appreciate all the signs with information on native species and i like that it’s more nature based than other parks. however, there are a lot of reviews that mention fishing. PLEASE do not fish at this park- there are countless signs on the docs that say “no fishing”. Sirenia Vista is a park that is based on raising awareness to native and protected species. It is not a place to fish, that goes against the entire purpose of the park. I see so many people disregarding the rule. If you’re visiting florida, the best thing you can do is observe nature and witness all of the beautiful animals that live here, it’s a way better experience. Fishing can be super harmful, especially during seasons where manatees, dolphins, sharks, etc. are more common. If you’re really looking for a fishing spot, try looking in the pine island area for a place that allows it.
