I came across Ruby Canody's personal art gallery by accident, and I will be back! Ruby is an effervescent 92-year-old artist who has created art in nearly every possible medium, ranging from pastel drawings to fused glass to clothing (all handmade). I chatted with her for over an hour, and she showed me a great deal of her art - but there is so much of it that I did not see everything. If you are looking for a special souvenir from Afton/Batesville, I highly recommend a visit to Ruby's gallery. Starting this year, she is open year around. Give her a visit! I feel certain you'll be delighted.
