Four couples only had a day in Portland and booking this walking tour with Peter was a great way to make the most of our time. He is a wealth of information and we so enjoyed walking around Portland. We would have missed much of the amazing art and loved hearing about the history of the city.

Every year I take a group of international teenagers to Portland, and we always enjoy a walking tour with Peter. He is great about customizing our tour to meet our needs, preferences, and schedule. The kids really enjoy walking the city and learning about it in a fun way. This tour is way more than just walking and listening--there's plenty to experience as well. The kids from around the world love the tour, and the adult chaperones--some of whom grew up in Portland--also find it interesting and educational. I highly recommend it!

We were lucky that Peter had had a cancellation and was available to give us a personal tour of the downtown area. It was a perfect introduction to the town and we were able to get good advice for the rest of our stay.

Peter did an phenominal job on our tour. He was amazing at keeping our 8 and 11 yr old daughters engaged while we walked through the city. I think because of his years in education he was particularly good with mixing fun and education. Peter also did a great job with customizing the tour to our family, a great advantage over big tour groups. I would highly recommend taking one of his tours.
