tripadvisorMost beautiful peaceful place...used SUP and enjoyed every minute..no crowds...Just a few people and their happy dogs.
MoreThe lake was gorgeous and a great place to stop and take a picture. It would be a great place to kayak or canoe. It was windy and we didn't have time the day we went. Be warned it is a good drive off the main road on a gravel road. Probably 4 or 5 miles one way.
MoreIm a born Montanan who use to camp here every couple of years when I travel home, but need to find a better location. First, road has become so rough I'm hesitant to take my rig on it. The water use to be clear, camping good and the fishing great, but the trash at both the camp sites and in the lake is ridiculous and very sad. When you find human waste along the edge of the lake it makes swimming a little undesirable. Wonder if leeches will start being as bad as Shurshot lakes. If your an out of stater I only want to say learn to be respectful for our great outdoors. Pick up and pack out all trash (including human waste).
MoreI’ve been going to Wade Lake with my family since I was young child. I took a ride trip with my kids from Ca. A couple years ago and the lake and campgrounds haven’t changed one bit! It’s a beautiful, peaceful lake and campground.
MoreThe most amazing clear water I've ever seen in a lake. It was beautiful!! The road to get to the lake is a little rough, but well worth the trip! We rented 4 kayaks from Wake Lake Resort and that was an easy process! Would highly recommend this lake! We can't wait to go back!!
