tripadvisorI love the Newport Beach Public Library. I have cards for 3 library systems, but Newport Beach Public Library is my favorite. I love their library store of used books. I appreciate the wonderful, kind, professional help of the library staff. I also enjoy the wide selection of books and audio books in the adult section and the occasional excellent book selection in their beautiful children's room.
MoreIn OC this is the #1 library. An extremely large collection of books, magazines, and periodicals. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Parking is usually easy.
MoreAs libraries go, this one is a jewel. Come for the special programs or just stroll the grounds. You can even get a snack here.
MoreThe friends of the library bookstore is a fabulous place to pick up reasonable priced books. I myself have donated over a hundred and purchased some as well. Their lecture series is amazing, with National figures and local ones as well. The staff is very helpful.
MoreVery nice building just off Pacific Coast Highway, a few homeless around the library area and detracts from feeling of safety. Otherwise lovely library.
