This isn't big but it is powerful. It is on the corner of a relatively busy intersection, but parking is free and it is easy to find. Since it is very close to my house, I drive by often and I am amazed that almost every time I go by there are people visiting.

It is a pity that my Father is not alive to see it. (He was at the Pusan Perimeter and the drive up to the yalu River) He was always bitter that his War became the Forgotten war.

Small but well done. Photo of rugged mountainous terrain representative of the war. I was most impressed with 2 engraved panel stories about selfless heroism. Memorial is on north end of police building. I found only ONE dedicated parking space for the memorial.

The forgotten war, but not forgotten here. They've done a nice job with some engraved maps and time-lines, and the names of local Americans who served and died there. Very touching.

Very inspirational! And full of history. A very fitting way to honor the Kansans veterans both living and dead who served during the Korean War. The description and location of the battles in this setting made the knowledge of what all our men went through even more meaningful.
