I offer supportive, kind, effective math instruction and tutoring in my quiet Santa Rosa home office and through Zoom. I work especially well with homeschool families and am able to tailor the instruction and recommended assignments to the individual student's learning style and pacing needs. I love working with college students too, especially those may have math anxiety or learning challenges and need a supportive person to help them fulfill a math requirement. Some students call me a "math whisperer" because I provide gentle instruction that has helped even the most frustrated and challenged students become successful. I have a Bachelor's Degree and a CA teaching credential in math, along with 20+ years math tutoring / teaching experience. I work with elementary school through college students including students with special needs and disabilities, students who did not learn prior math concepts and skills due to Covid or other factors, students with math anxiety, college-prep students, college students, independent study, and homeschooled students. Please be in touch if you have any questions or would just like to talk. Teresa
