The senior couple managing the property were very helpful, service oriented and took care of the comfort of the guests. They provided help, even when disturbed during sleepThat said, the property needs lots of attention. The door (for Room #110) does not close properly, defective handle and need to strongly bang the door to securely lock. Though renovated inside, the rooms lack a touch of class and need lots of minute upgrade. Good to stay for one night, but not beyond. Being on El Camino Real in Santa Clara, is perhaps the biggest advantage to occupy

Stay was ok. No seats in reception area. There was a little window to talk with staff through after 10pm and before 7am. Not the best sleep and people were always outside smoking so the smell was unpleasant for us.

“Very Nice Management” Been here 5 nights. Rooms are clean & a good size. NO breakfast!! They stopped it...? Priced WAY TO HIGH for what you get. $120.00! NO Way worth more then $89.95. Yes, it’s nicer & cleaner then a lot of others & nice people run it. However, not worth $120.00 to sleep in a bed one night! No. You can hear every car & truck on El Camino Real!! Awful flat & old uncomfortable pillows!! Every one of them are horrible. Horrid cheap fake down pillows... Honestly, the worst ever!! I hope they fix a couple “simple” things. This could be a great place. Sorry to the Managers here, but I’m honest & this is sad but very true when cheap pillows could be fixed! You’re here to sleep remember?

You get what you pay for. Unfortunately every other hotel in the Bay Area was completely booked. It was the only reason I stayed here last minute otherwise I would never step foot in a place I've never even heard of. Very noisy parking lot cars blasting music and driving in & out until 4 am. Weird people wandering around the property. Guests coming and going from their rooms ALL night long, slamming doors- very noisy place. Filthy outdated rooms. One of the beds wasn't changed. It was so dirty full of hairs and sweat stains including the pillows that I had to sleep on the other bed which had a HORRIBLE mattress from 2004!! What kind of motel keeps a mattress in a room for 13 years!!? It was so soft and saggy it made my back stiff, not to mention the box spring was ripped and torn. VERY NOISY air-conditioner. The vent was cracked and missing pieces of the cover. Candy wrappers were thrown inside. Graffiti on the side of it. Extremely old and outdated looked at least 20 years old. Curtains were old, dirty and wouldn't stay closed. Shower head looked like it was from 1980. It was practically coming out of the wall. Anti-slip guard in the bathtub was completely worn out, cigarette stains all over the side of the tub. Toilet seat had cigarette stains too. The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is because the mini fridge had a freezer on top.

The front desk people were very nice, but I did not feel very safe in my room. The door did not lock properly and people were noisily walking around outside my room all night. I ended up pushing an easy chair in front of my door for some peace of mind. The room was clean overall, but sheets looked a bit old and stained. Included breakfast has a very limited selection, but it's better than nothing. Stayed here because it was close to the place where I was interviewing and overall the location is good, but would not stay here again.
