There was goose excrement EVERYWHERE!!! Avoid! Beyond that the beach is very small and the sand nearly like gravel.

I enjoy boating on this lake much more than Geist...seems cleaner and I get tired of just looking at the million $$$ homes on Geist....

This is our second Buddy Rally at White River Campground. The first was washed out by a storm that hit the area in 2017. This time the only rain was early Saturday afternoon, and again through Sunday morning. The property, office and camp host, and adjacent county park land is excellent. The shower building, office, pavilion, and campground is very well maintained. There was no garbage around the trash dumpsters as I have seen at several other national commercial campgrounds. As the president of the Indiana Airstream Club I would recommend White River Campground for future club rallies.

Red bridge park on the West Bank of the reservoir at the Cicero bridge is great spot from which to view the waterscape. There is ample parking, restroom facilities, and a paved walking path open to the public. It is free and easily accessible by driving west on Cicero’s main drag (Jackson Street). Go over the bridge crossing the reservoir and immediately make a left.

We went out on Morse on 2017's Labor Day Saturday and it was Great! Perfect weather, good crowd not too crowded, even saw a 55' cigarette boat fly by!
