We were there on April 6th and the shop was closed on a saturday. Not many places opened that weekend. Not sure if it was off season. Will be going back this summer to check it out i've heard wonderful things about this shop and really want to check it out..

A very quaint soda shop. Within walking distance of all of downtown Weaverville, including the museum and art gallery. The service was excellant.

It was a hot day in Weaverville when we made out visit, so we went to Old Town Station for a Milkshake, a Root Beer Float and a cone of soft-serve. All were delicious and the air conditioning was working well. The store has different tourist items for sale, but what surprised me the most was the video rental store. Besides rentals for new movies, the store had a large collection of VCR tapes and older video games, something that I had not seen in 10-15 years. The store also sells reasonably priced chicken dinners.
