My granddaughter loved the many geese, ducks and turtles. Beautiful landscape, Porta potties for convenience. Nice trail with several benches along the way.

This park is named for a very large arrowhead shaped quarry where the native rosy quartzite is mined. The park is filled with wildlife especially birds and has a large number of trails to use. Some are paved and some are not. There is a nice prairie like quality to the landscape which we appreciated. Great spot for picnics as there is a fairly big sized parking lot and restrooms on site. The old barn has been very nicely restored.

The views of the prairie, farmland, arboretum, & general landscape are wonderful. The 1888 renovated barn is in great shape. Bring your camera for the wildlife also. Watch for the frogs in one pond. There are paved trails marked with how many miles you would travel. Great for strollers. Bathrooms are also handicap accessible. We did not find any gravel road. There's a nice small paved parking lot. Nice picnic area away from the lot.

We enjoy going here to walk the trails. It is close to town but feels set apart. The geese are a bit messy however.

This is a good place to see some nature and walk on paved trails or grass trails. Because we were with little kids we didn't walk all the way around, but we did pick up some nice stones for skipping on the water. Other than the traffic noise from the highway, the park was quiet, and there wasn't much shade by the parking lot. This is a good place to take little kids to ride their bikes without worrying about them being run over by other bikers or running into people walking or running. We did not make it to the historical barn, as we missed the turn while driving on the gravel road that goes to a subdivision.
