Neal Preserve is a great spot for a short, easy walk with some nice nature views. The boardwalk is flat and accessible, and the observation tower gives a really nice panoramic view of the surrounding area so it’s worth the quick climb!Bug spray is a must, the mosquitos are no joke, especially in the warmer months. There's also an Osprey nest near the entrance that's interesting to see, and we even found a geocache, which was a fun bonus! All around, it's a peaceful little spot to stretch your legs, enjoy some wildlife, and take in the view. Great for a quick nature break without a big hike.

Saw several osprey and other birds. Unfortunately there is a drought so most of the ponds and pools had little water. The view of the bay was great

Cool spot to stop and walk for a little while. Originally, we saw the dock and wanted to see if we could fish(too tall of a railing for my boys). But we loved the mangrove jungle boardwalk leading to it, and also to a cool tower to climb and look around.Fascinating history and just a cool spot to explore, and run around with kids!

Nice easy trail. We started counterclockwise on the boardwalk then continued on the shell trail. Signs with interesting history of the area tell the story of ancient graves found in the shell mounds. A small tower allows overviews. Overall a simple and nice short walk. We spent less than 1 hour slowly strolling observing Osprey and palm warblers. Plenty of parking. Picnic area with outhouse available .

Small well maintained walking trail with informative historic stopping points. There’s a nice tower to climb too.
