I didnt even walk in this building until I started school here. Even then not much, until I was required to take a Fine Art class and the professor made it mandatory we saw some plays and live music. So I now go every time they put on a play. Its cheap and always a good show.

We enjoy going to see student plays at this theater. The seats are roomy and there is not a bad seat in the place.

I went to the Artist's Reception for Miles Mayfield at McMurry University in Abilene. Miles is a graduate from McMurry. Now he teaches part time there. The food table he and his mother prepared for the guest was as artistic as the pottery he made. It was a very nice reception and fun time on Thursday August 1, 2013. The gallery hosts other events during the year also. It is located in the lobby of the Amy Graves Ryan Arts Center on the McMurry University campus.
